Carla Corkern

Chief Executive Officer

Carla Corkern leads and unifes the Talyst team in its mission of service to pharmacists and other health care providers, while championing the company’s continued growth.

Beyond guiding the company’s strategic operations, she has a personal commitment to deepen the dialogue with current and potential users of Talyst systems. Corkern has led many of Talyst’s largest ongoing initiatives, aimed at refining delivery and service processes for acute care and new growth markets that are supported by acute-care pharmacies.

She has built highly successful technology companies, having more than 18 years of experience in high-tech and supply chain management.

Before joining Talyst, she served as chief operations officer at Vykor, Inc., a leading company in the management of the aerospace supply chain. She contributed to a plan that raised $28 million in venture capital funding and managed the company’s software development, customer support, training and professional services.

Corkern was instrumental in several public-company transitions and growth initiatives.

She led a buyout of a division of Highland Digital to become the founder and president of ISOGEN International, which is now part of Inodata (NASDAQ: INOD). Corkern then led the integration of DataChannel into Netegrity (NASDAQ: NETE) and served as general manager for Netegrity’s portal business.

She serves on the Board of Trustees of Seattle Girls’ School. As an advocate for women seeking technology careers, she contributed an essay on her startup company experience that is published in The Girls’ Book of Success: Winning Wisdom Tales of Triumph, Celebrity Advice and More, edited by Catherine Dee.

Corkern holds a B.S. in technical communication from Louisiana Tech University and did graduate work at Southern Methodist University.
